Entry requirementsIf you are changing course you will need to demonstrate in this application that you meet the most recent entry requirements for the new course, some courses have additional entry requirements. For course admission information you should refer to information in QUT publications or in Studyfinder. You will need to demonstrate in this application that you meet the most recent entry requirements. Course progressionUnit availability is not guaranteed for students admitted to a course in Semester 2. Students should check with the relevant Faculty on unit availability and selecting a study plan for course completion. Re-admission after exclusion/suspensionApplications for Re-admission after exclusion/suspension must be lodged by the advertised on-time closing date (see key dates search) in order for applications to be considered by the relevant Faculty Academic Board. No further applications will be considered beyond the on-time closing date. QUT refuses admission to applicants who have been suspended from a higher education institution for non-academic reasons (discipline or misconduct) while the suspension or equivalent action remains in force. Applicants who have been excluded from a course as a result of unsatisfactory academic performance, either from QUT or elsewhere, will not be considered for admission to the same or a similar course or study program unless:

Advanced standingAdvanced standing for prior QUT studiesIf you are changing course and you are expecting to receive advanced standing for previously studied QUT units, before submitting the R/I form complete the Advanced Standing section (q.4) and provide relevant details of your previous QUT units and expected exemptions in the new course. Before completing the Advanced Standing section you should search the QUT Advanced Standing Precedent List (ASPL), a compilation of past Advanced Standing decisions. If you find an advanced standing decision on the ASPL that you are eligible for, copy the precedent ID in the Advanced Standing section of this form. This will ensure that your request for advanced standing is processed as quickly as possible, to help you make correct unit choices when you enrol. Please note the ASPL is a guide only, and is subject to change. Advanced Standing for non-QUT studiesIf you are applying for Advanced Standing based on prior studies at another institution, or if you wish to apply for any further Advanced Standing for QUT studies after submitting the R/I form, please complete the Application for Advanced Standing (AS form) and submit before the closing date. For closing dates see the key dates search (choose the category 'Advanced Standing applications', the teaching period and the year of your application).
