At QUT we understand that helping your son or daughter as they make their choice about what course or career path to follow and settle into university is much easier if you have access to all the information you need. This site guide provides links to relevant information on the QUT website. Parents can also subscribe to our electronic newsletter, QUT News for Parents. QUT's Parents brochure provides information about career outcomes, scholarships, study costs and student support, as well as answers to some common questions we receive from parents. Download a PDF version or request a copy by phoning 07 3138 8501 or email parents@qut.edu.au If you have any questions which are not answered on this website or through our newsletters, please feel free to email us on parents@qut.edu.au - QUT's dedicated email service for parents. Settling in
real experiences
My parents went with me to open days and helped me research my course. When I started university they helped me make the necessary changes to my routine such as working out public transport. Adele Howard
Neither of my parents went to university, so to understand what I would be doing they went to QUT’s Open Day and browsed the websites. Then they were confident that I was making the right decision. Josh Skyring
